The location of the Museum is a building built in the early 20th century. The Museum's collections contain items of archeology, everyday life and applied art, rare books, minerals and numismatic collections, materials related to the pre-revolutionary history of Sterlitamak in the Soviet era, the Civil and Patriotic wars.
The theater was founded in 1946. For more than 70 years, more than 600 performances based on the works of Shakespeare, Chekhov, Ostrovsky, Balzac, Bulgakov and other classics have been staged on its stage.
The location of the Park is the historical part of Sterlitamak. A monument will be erected there in honor of the victims of atomic weapons, the Totsk landfill disaster and the Chernobyl accident. The Park has benches, a fountain, a volleyball court, and walking paths for visitors.
The Cathedral mosque was opened in 2007. It can accommodate 700-800 believers. The main dome of the mosque is surrounded by 4 green minarets.
The shihans, which are more than 230 million years old – are high hills with a conical shape. The highest of the shihans is the 402-meter Shihan Tratau.
This is the most elegant building in the city, built before the revolution. The building was erected in 1914. In the post-revolutionary period, it housed the house of political education, and now it is the social security Department.
