In 2018 Kegoc finished the Construction of a 500 kV overhead transmission lines which called « North-East-South transit » It allowed to increase the transit potential of the NES in the direction of North-South of Kazakhstan, to ensure coverage of the electricity needs of railways, energy-intensive facilities of the mining industry, and also to create conditions for the development of renewable energy sources, which is especially important in the concept of transition to a “green economy” that implemented in Kazakhstan, and also to strengthen the connection of the Eastern zone with the unified electric system of Kazakhstan.
Anti- Emergency control system is designed to automatically prevent and localize emergency modes in the event of regulatory disturbances, and it performed : -in order to prevent disturbances in power system stability - in order to eliminate asynchronous modes - prevent unacceptable reduction or increase in frequency, voltage -prevent unacceptable current loads on electrical equipment -increase the allowable power flow in the network
